Hello, Professor

I thought you, as my good family, would get a kick out of this: I received in the mail my contract for being an adjunct at OCC. It basically says that I am teaching these two classes with no real guarantee to teach anything else ever again, meaning they can not hire me again if I really stink up the joint. It also says (I think; it's very subtle) that I am now a member of a union. Workers of the world, unite! I'll have to check my paycheck to see if they're garnishing my wages for union membership dues.

But the funniest thing is that it was addressed to "Professor Rachel Bryson." You've just gotta love that kind of spin and optimism from an employer!
