This first pic is going towards the fountain in Forsyth Park. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and we had such a good time.These next four are more for Mom's benefit - we parked on this street and this is the norm for blocks around the park. SO GORGEOUS!
We went to Savannah this last weekend so that Jarum could take his Utah dental license examination. (Side Note: This does NOT mean that we are going to move to Utah. It was just one of the easier licenses to aquire and one of the least expensive. Plus he didn't have to fly out to take it. :) ) Anyway, since he had to go we thought we'd make a day of it. We went to the Savannah Mall and bought some birthday presents for Matthew. We then went and took Jarum to his testing center. He took the exam while the kids and I waited in the car. After that we went to Forsyth Park and enjoyed the Savannah College of Art and Design Sidwalk Art Festivle. It was great fun to see all of these art students coloring on the sidewalk, not to mention that Forsyth Park is just BEAUTIFUL!!! The kids didn't want to leave, but it was getting kind of hot and we didn't want heat exhausted kids. So after that we went to the Oglethorpe Mall and introduced the kids to the wonderful delight that is an Orange Julius. We then got in the car and came home. It was a way fun day!
