Jeremy and I have a new favorite program on NPR: "Says You!" (Check your local listings!) They've been broadcasting the last few weeks from Salt Lake in honor of Sundance, so it's been fun to hear the word "Wasatch" so often on national radio.

Basically, "Says You!" is a light-hearted quiz show that plays a variety of word games. Sometimes they play a "Balderdash"-style game of word definitions; sometimes they give a series of words where one doesn't belong... you get the idea. Last Sunday, one of the games they played was "Name Chain," where they gave two names (ie, Shannon Hicks), and you have to insert two other names in between the first two in order to come up with three names of notable individual (for example, Shannon Elizabeth Taylor Hicks, with Shannon Elizabeth (actress), Elizabeth Taylor (whatever she is), and Taylor Hicks (of American Idol fame)). Jeremy and I are quite taken with this game and have enjoyed literally hours of fun trying to stump each other with our own name chains. Here are a few to help you exercise your mental muscles:

Walter Roosevelt
George Brown (think musicians here--a hint almost necessary with how common those names are!)
Dick McDeere (all fictional characters--including two very current ones)
Henry Oates
Ron Cain
