The other day Clara was taking a bath and playing with this tiny rabbit toy. She was having the rabbit swim and do other water activities, and then she held the rabbit carefully in her right hand, put it under the water, raised her left arm, mumbled something, and then looked up at us and smiled.
"I just baptized my rabbit," she said.
Where does she get this stuff? Well--I guess I know that: we were talking about a friend of ours who is getting baptized earlier in the day, and she's seen enough baptisms and pictures of baptisms to know more or less how it looks. But still. At any rate, she was pretty excited for her rabbit, as you can imagine.
