Sun-BEAM!

Jeremy and I recently garnered compelling evidence that Clara learns a lot that we have no hand in teaching her. A few days ago, when we were in Boston, we were trying to entertain her before bedtime and decided to sing "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam" with her, which we'd never done. In my naivete, I thought I'd teach her to clap her hands or wave her fingers during the traditional manic jumping parts, so we started singing the song, hands at the ready. Much to our surprise, as soon as she heard the tune she scrambled to her feet and started attempting little jumps--at just the right spots! I guess she's learning more at Primary with me than I'd given her credit for. Hopefully I will still be able to stave off any war whooping during "Book of Mormon Stories."
